Super Eagles players Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi are set to begin their English Premier League season with a game compatriot Fred Onyeka, whose club Brentford visit the King Power Stadium on Sunday.
And Iheanacho said though Brentford are not push-overs, winning the game and getting the three points is the major goal as Leicester hope to make a strong start.
“Brenford are a good side,” Iheanacho said.
“Every team is working hard. We know what to expect, but maybe they’ll be a bit different now, we have to be ready.”
“We’ll have to be ready and hopefully we’ll get the three points. We can take confidence [from beating Brentford twice last season] but that was last season. This season, it’ll be totally different. We have to be ready and prepared. We’ll go and play our football with confidence.”
