Super Eagles striker Emmanuel Dennis, will link up with his compatriot Taiwo Awoniyi after his club Watford agreed to a $24.4m deal with Nottingham Forest.
Forest lost their first game of the season to Newcastle and they are eager to get more fire power up front as they pursue their campaign in the Premier League after two decades of sojourn in the Championship since 1999. Awoniyi made his EPL debut in the 2-0 loss.
Perhaps Dennis’ addition could give them more boost. He scored 10 league goals in 35 appearances for Watford last season. But he only scored two in his final 17 games as the Hornets were relegated.
He has started both of Watford’s games so far this term but is yet to find the net.
Forest have also been linked with Atalanta midfielder Remo Freuler and former Crystal Palace midfielder Cheikhou Kouyate.
