Nottingham Forest have confirmed the signing of Super Eagles striker Emmanuel Dennis and fans of his former club Watford described him as a “gem.”
Dennis completed the transfer on Saturday night, signing a four-year deal. He joins Taiwo Awoniyi in what Forest believe will be a productive investment. But Watford fans in social media posts rated Dennis high.
JackWFC: “Look after the lad, hell of a player. Was the only shining light at times in our dreadful team. Your lot will be fine this season. All the best lads.”
Jelson Four: “Enjoy lads, take care of him. What a player.”
Mark: “Welcome to Dennis FC Forest fans, this guy is a gem.”
Nick Waterton: “Decent player, look after him, only concern is his attitude, you got a hell of a player on his day.”
G: “Take care of him lads.”
Andrew Stalbow: “From a Watford fan, he’s a great player, enjoy!”
Rich: “Decent player, decent attitude, has some real quality if allowed a run in the team. Although a brief spell with us, genuinely wish him well and look after him good luck for the season.”
Paul Whittenbury: “Fantastic player you’ve got on your hands. Genuinely exciting, energetic and makes football fun. Best of luck this season guys.”
