Embattled Nigerian Football Federation president, Amaju Pinnick said he would resign this very minute, if any Nigerian can tell him what he did wrong throughout his tenure.
Pinnick who was speaking on Arise TV up till this morning was undecided if he would seek a third term at the glasshouse headquarters of the NFF, but he has now been made to quit the race all together, according to him, he’s been overwhelmed by the amount of hatred towards his person.
” You don’t want to go to a terrain where there is bitterness, hatred, and animosity. For no reason other than the fact that it is Amaju Pinnick. If you ask any of the haters what has Pinnick done wrong; if they tell me today I will resign,” Pinnick said.
He revealed that he has been humiliated and possibly there could be an attempt to eliminate him all together.
“Institutions that are meant to protect you are the ones opening you up for humiliation, ridicule and possible annihilation.
‘I love Nigeria but my family is key and number one. Every time I’m having issues, my family is tired.”
