Elections into the executive board of the Nigeria Football Federation barring any court intervention and other roadblocks, would hold next month and former Senator Sanni Shehu has urged Nigerian ex-internationals to be in the forefront of the contest for positions.
So far the only player who made his interest known is former goalkeeper Idah Peterside, he is a player that does not carry so much weight like Austin Okocha, Daniel Amokachi, Tijani Babangida and even John Mikel Obi whose retirement from football was recent.
