This day publisher and Arise TV chairman, Nduka Obaigbena sparked social media storm after he coined a song mocking Rivers State governor and Peoples Democratic Party strongman Nyesom Wike.
Mr. Obaigbena who was treating guests to some happy moments during the funeral of his mother , Margaret Obaigbena in Owa-Oyibu, Delta state at the weekend, was singing in honour of Sokoto State governor Aminu Tambuwa saying: “Tambuwa President, Wike O lu le. Video of went viral on the net. O lu le means in Yoruba “He’s down.” The words were first used by All Progressives Congress candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu, while discussing a situation with President Mohamudu Buhari.
Meanwhile reports in Rivers suggest Wike’s allies are leaving him because of hard stances in the reconciliation effort with PDP flag-bearing Abubakar Atiku. Those who have left h Wike’s camp include Deputy Speaker of House of Representatives, Austin Opara, Sen Lee Maeba, former Governor Celestine Omehia, Jones Ogbonda, former Rivers Assembly member; Ikechi Chinda; former PDP Chairman, Port Harcourt City Local Government Area and Mr. Chinyere Igwe.
