Everton coach Frank Lampard said midfielder Alex Iwobi keeps getting better with every game.
Iwobi, had played in all positions for Everton under different coaches since his move from Arsenal, but is only Lampard that seem to be get
ting the best out of the Super Eagles player. Iwobi had started in all games for Everton this season. He was man of the match in their League Cup win against Fleetwood on Tuesday night.
Lampard said: “Alex is playing at a really high level where he plays – midfield, higher up the pitch – and he works off the ball and he’s huge player for this squad.
“We’re delighted with his performances and since I’ve been here he’s been getting better and better. He’s started the season in great form.”
