The Super Eagles team B are low in morale and unless there is a positive vibe in the camp between now and Saturday, Ghana might just pick another qualification at the expense of Nigeria at the Moshood Abiola Stadium Abuja.
Having suffered a 2-0 loss at the first leg African Nations Championship in Cape Coast, Ghana the Super Eagles need to come up with a 3-0 win or some other kind lucky dip to scale through to the tournament in Algeria later in the year, but according to coach Yusuf Salisu, his team is badly looking for motivation.
“Since we’ve been in camp nobody cares how we trained or how we traveled, everyone can see how the environment looks like for us.
“We have no moral support, we are just here all alone. We went to Ghana alone, and we came back alone. If there is care for this team, it can do wonders,” lamented Yusuf.
However, he was hopeful that his players would look beyond their present plight and show up for the game in a big way.
“Qualification is not beyond us, we will do our best. The players have been magnificent in their efforts.”
