Rapper Ice Prince Zamani has been docked at the Ajah Magistrate Court Lagos, allegedly for kidnapping and assaulting a policeman.
Ice Price was picked up by the Lagos State Police Command in early hours of Friday and was later arraigned. According to Lagos Police Command spokesman, Benjamin Hundeyi the rapper known for his song ‘Oleku’ is facing a three count charge of assault, abduction and obstructing a policeman on duty.
“At 3 am Friday, Ice prince was stopped for driving without license plates,” Hundeyi said.
“He agreed to be taken to the station. He, thereafter, abducted the police officer in his car, assaulted him, and threatened to throw him in the river. He has been arrested and would be arraigned today.”
A couple of weeks ago another artist BNXN was also arrested for assaulting a policeman.
