Afro hip-hop legend, Tuface Idibia has taken to his social media page to call for the release of rapper Ice Prince who has been remanded at the Ikoyi Correctional Centre for allegedly assaulting a policeman.
Ice Price was arrested by the police on September 2 for “kidnapping and assaulting” a policeman who had stopped him for driving an unregistered car. He was arraigned before a Magistrate Court in Ajah and was subsequently remanded, if he fails to meet his bail conditions before the next hearing on September 7.
“Has it become a crime to be a young person in this country?” Tuface stated on his Instagram page.
“Every protest and struggle is also for you to have better pay, equipment and proper retirement benefits. #FreeIcePrince.”
