Ondo State Security agency known as Amotekun said three of the suspected kidnappers who seized nine funeral guest at Ifon, Ose local government area of the State and demanded N90m have been arrested.
According to the Amotekun corps commander in Ondo State Adetunji Adeleye, three of the suspects where picked up after they had been tracked through their mobile phones. He gave the names of the suspects as Shaibu Dolo, Saidu Yinusa and Haruna Musa.
“We arrested some members of the kidnapping gang arrested along the Ose / Owo axis where we had a recent kidnap, Chief Adeleye said.
“We tracked the phones being used by the kidnappers and we met them around the tracking area but they told us that their leader had run away.
“They explained that their own job is to buy food and charge the phones in the camp but we are still working towards the arrest of others and I can assure you that the criminals will be arrested in no distance period”.
