Striker Victor Osimhen wants his club to build on their 4-1 defeat of Liverpool and finish top of the group A pairings of the Champions League
Though the Super Eagles star missed a penalty in the first half, his contributions to the game helped Napoli to the flattering scoreline in the first half. Osimhen was replaced in the 42 minute after his muscle injury resurfaced. Liverpool centre backs were relieved to see him leave because he had been on their necks.
“My first time in my career [I missed a penalty].
The injury I did not think was that bad. It is football.”
“It’s a huge one [Napoli 4-1 win over Liverpool]. The win is a big one for us, but we don’t want to dwell on this because we have some other good teams in the group.
