A 52-year-old woman, Elizabeth Ayeni, said she would love to have veteran ‘Juju’ music legend Sunny Ade to give her a DNA test as she wants to know if the musician was her real father.
Ayeni has been yearning to meet Sunny Ade, one of the pioneers of Juju music in Nigeria KSA as the musician is fondly called has indicated that he would also like to meet the woman.
According to Ayeni, her mother informed her that KSA was her father and she has been for long trying to confirm if it was true or not, adding that she didn’t want to share in the musician’s wealth.
Donald Ajibola, a lawyer for the musician said a meeting is imminent: “I contacted Ayeni some days back and told her that I had spoken with Sunny Ade. What I told her was that I spoke with him and he agreed to meet her.
“The only thing is that he is too busy and cannot meet her now. It was even difficult for me to meet him. When he has time, he will meet with her.”
The woman, according to Sahara Reporters also confirmed that Ajibola had reached out to her and spoken of a meeting, but did not give a specific time.
