A pastor Michael Darko Amponsah and a local chief in the Central Region of Ghana are now helping the police in their investigation into the kidnap and murder of a 22-year-old lady Georgina Asor Botchway.
Reports from Ghana said Miss Botchway who is nurse had gone to Cape Coast for a job interview and after the session, she was picked sister’s boyfriend who happened to be Pastor Amponsah.
One week after when she failed to return to her home in Yeji Bono in the East Region of the country, her family raised an alarm. When the family got wind that she was picked up by Pastor Amponsah, Miss Botchway’s broher who is a soldier and her uncle Joseph Dade confronted the Pastor and he confessed to have sold the young nurse to a local chief Nana Clarke Onyaa.
But according to Mr. Dade by the time they got to the chief’s house with the police, Miss Botchway had already been killed.
According to the Police Chief Superintendent in the Central Region, David Gyabaa Miss Botchway was murdered and buried at the Onyaa’s resident in Mankessim. Her remains were exhumed by the Police.
