Super Eagles coaches and their players have their minds on getting a good result when they tackle Algeria’s Desert Foxes in Tuesday’s international friendly.
The team arrived Oran Monday afternoon from Constantine, where they had camped and played against the Algeria B side preparing for the Africa Nations Championship, which they are hosting. They played a 2-2 draw, and the Eagles are hopeful of leaving Algeria with no defeat.
“We’re in Oran, Algeria. Stage is set for the international friendly against Algeria tomorrow. Kickoff: 8pm(Nigeria Time), officials posted on the team’s twitter handle. (@NGSuperEagles)
Speaking on the encounter that would see the likes of Victor Osimhen, Wilfred Ndidi, Samuel Chukwueze, Ahmed Musa and William Ekong, missing, Algeria coach Djamel Belmadi said the Eagles remain a strong side and would field his top stars
“Nigeria is another game. We will try to get the whole group to play. We have a good opposition. It’s not a small team,” he said.
