Ahmed Bola Tinubu the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress Party for the 2023 elections has debunked claims of his failing health.
Tinubu who has been missing from the campaign trail since it was flagged off last week. He had been vacationing as claimed by his minders, while there are speculations that he was in bad shape had gone to seek medical assistant in Europe.
But the former Lagos State governor was seen posing in a gym bike Sunday and he reassured his followers that he was in sound mind and body.
“Many have said I have died; others claim I have withdrawn from the presidential campaign. Well… Nope.
“This is the reality: I am strong, I am healthy and I am READY to serve Nigerians from Day One,” posted on his twitter handle.
However, Nigerians are still skeptical about his health status. They wondered why he should be missing in action when in 2015 he was the arrow head of President Muhammadu Buhari’s campaign. Some made mockery of his gym biking by doing photo ops of him riding an ice cream bicycle.
