A few days after a father and his three daughters died in Kogi State after a meal of ‘Amala’ another nine members of a family have died in mysterious circumstances.
The latest deaths occurred Monday night in Nagazi, Adavi Local Government Area of Kogi State. Five members of the family died on the spot and the other four died in the hospital.
Meanwhile the father of the deceased is helping the police with their investigation into the deaths.

Meanwhile the Kogi State government has vowed to unravel the mystery surrounding the deaths. The commissioner for information Kingsley Fanwo said”No stone will be left unturned to unravel the mystery leading to the death of the victims.”
“The governor has directed security and health authorities to get to the root of the matter. I want to assure your highness that the reports of their findings would be made public and necessary actions taken,” he said.
