An Ikeja Chief Magistrates’ Court Wednesday consigned a 40-year-old data analyst, Francis Amanze to staying at the Kirikiri Correctional Centre, after he was docked for raping two under aged girls.
Amanze allegedly committed the crime at his residence at Flat 2, Block 362, Iba Housing Estate, Lagos. According to Police prosecuting counsel ASP Raji Akeem, Amanze’s wife runs lesson classes at the residence and the suspect took advantage of her absence, tied up the girls aged between nine and ten before defiling them.
Chief Magistrate, B. O. Osunsanmi, did not take Amanze’s plea and ordered his remand until Oct. 31, to await advice from the office of Director of Public Prosecution.
