The Super Falcons would be without top striker Asisat Oshoala as Nigeria and Japan clash Thursday morning in Kobe.
Oshoala remained in Barcelona where she trained with her teammates, confirming her unwillingness to join the team, she missed the arrival deadline.
However, the African Footballer of the year and first African to win the UEFA Champions League absence would not be felt as Falconnets stars Sabastine Flourish, Jumoke Alani and Esther Onyenezide are in the team. They will make their senior national team debut just like fellow U20 players, Rofiat Imuran and Tosin Demehin, who made their super Falcons debut recently against USA.
Sebestine performed excellently at the recent U20 Women’s World Cup in Costa Rica where she was the Match winner against France being the scorer of the only goal in the match.
The 18 years old striker who also plays for Bayelsa queens also helps the team qualify for the CAF champions league.
The friendly between the Super Falcons and Nadeshiko will take place at the Noevir Stadium, Kobe on Thursday.
