Popular evangelist and leader of Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele said Central Bank Governor, Godwin Emefiele has no solution to the country’s economic woes and President Muhammadu Buhari need to throw him out before further damage is done.
Primate Ayodele who was reacting to the CBN’s plan to redesign the naira notes, said during his Church service Sunday said: “CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele should be sacked, he can’t give a solution to the economy of Nigeria.
“The country will have more economic hardship and our naira will further be devalued. He doesn’t have an idea of the economy, he is fed up already. We can’t come out of these woes for the next six years. Former president, Goodluck Jonathan sacked Sanusi as CBN governor when he wasn’t performing, what’s stopping the sack of Emefiele because he is clearly not performing.’’.
‘’The money design solves nothing in the economy, whether you change it or not, it doesn’t stop terrorism, kidnapping, insecurity, it’s just mere waste of money. These people are not seeing anything, those in charge are confused, we need divine intervention so we can get results.’’
