There is no truth in the reports circulating online about the arrest of actress Eniola Badmus in connection with the death of Ifeanyi Adeleke, who is the son of music start David Adeleke a.k.a Davido.
The three-year-old Ifeanyi was found dead in the swimming pool at the residence of his father on Banana Island, Ikoyi Lagos. Several domestic staff were questioned by the police, but the Nanny and the Chef caring for the toddler are still being detained. A woman claimed in an online video that the Nanny told the police it was Eniola Badmus she was talking to when the child disappeared from sight. And the Police have arrested Badmus for interrogation.
However, Lagos State Police Command spokesman SP Benjamin Hundeyin, said Badmus is not under arrest. “There’s nothing like that, it’s fake news.”
He added that an autopsy has confirmed that the cause of the boy’s death was drowning.
