Napoli top striker Victor Osimhen said his club needs to keep the momentum going after their 3-2 win over Udinese on Saturday.
The Super Eagles striker headed in one of the Napoli goals, bringing his haul to nine out of 11 Serie A games, he is currently the top scorer. Asked if he would want it to remain like that for the rest of the season the former Golden Eaglets star said: “That is not for me, I don’t put myself before the team or my individual ambition.
” It is a team sport and I want to win trophies with this team. If I win Capocannoniere, I’ll be happy, but the important thing is the team wins,” Osimhen told DAZN.
He said the World Cup break will not affect the rhythm of the team.
“It’s not a problem, we have some days off, we return as a group. I wish my teammates a good tournament, we will come back very soon and work together as a team.
“Of course the rest of my teammates that are going I wish them all the very best. I wish them a good tournament, and we’ll come back very soon and continue to work as a team. “
