Peoples Democratic Party presidential candidate, Abubakar Atiku has no intention of quitting the race for who becomes Nigeria’s President next year.
According to Paul Ibe, a media aide to the former Vice President, there is no truth to speculations Atiku would be winding up his campaign soon. He blamed the All Progressives Congress for starting the rumour to destabilise Atiku.
“We may need to investigate what those people are smoking, what substance they are taking.
“I can assure you that whatever issues we have in the PDP will be resolved because they are getting attention. Meanwhile, the roads have started the campaigns,” Punch quotes Ibe as saying.
Atiku, 75, is one of the frontline candidates in respect of the 2023 election. He is contesting for the presidency for the fifth time.
