Football fans had a good day at the opening day of the FIFA World Cup as they were treated to live broadcast on large screens and also side attractions.
It was an arrangement by Brila FM sports radio in partnership with Ojez Entertainment and other sponsors.
“A lot of goodies await football fans as the matches progress,” said a Brila FM official.
The World Cup began Sunday with hosts Qatar suffering a 2-0 defeat in the hands of Ecuador.
Senegal take on the Netherlands on Monday. Other African representatives, Ghana, Cameroon, Morocco and Tunisia hoping to go far in the tournament.
