Nigeria’s music star, Temilade Openiyi a.k.a Tems has been nominated for the prestigious Oscar Academy awards. Her song “Lift me up” done by Rihanna, a soundtrack album for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever was listed in the category of Best Original Song. “Lift Me Up” peaked at number one in Belgium, Hungary, Switzerland, and South Africa, number two on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart, and top five in Australia as well as the United Kingdom. Voting for the 2023 Oscars will run from March 2nd -7th. The 2023 Oscar award is set to hold on Sunday, March 12 at the Dolby Theater and it will be hosted by comedian and talk show host Jimmy Kimmel.
