Arsenal and their fans can heave a sigh of relief as midfielder Thomas Partey would be fit to play Everton in next weekend’s Premier League tie. However, according to reports by Jack Rosser of the UK Sun, checks have revealed in a tweet that the injury to Party is not that serious as was feared. Rosser said: “Arsenal will still want midfield cover, but initial checks have shown that Thomas Partey’s injury is not a serious one.” Will be assessed further in the coming days but the expectation is he’ll be fit for Everton.” Arsenal are chasing Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo as a cover for Party, but the south-coast club are adamant he is not for sale despite the Ecuadorian’s public pleas to be sold on social media.
