Manchester United have made Tammy Abraham a target for transfer during the summer window. According to Manchester Evening News, United are preparing to bid for the Nigerian-born England international who was central to Roma winning the maiden Europa Conference League last season. It was the 25-year-old’s debut season in Italy, he scored 17 goals from 37 games. But things started slowly for Abraham in his second season in Rome, he’s rediscovered his form since the World Cup break, scoring three goals and providing two assists in the league in 2023. Chelsea have a buy-back clause in the Englishman’s contract, set at €80m, which they’d likely look to lower should they look to bring him back. For now though, the West London club have other priorities.
Manchester United are also keen on Victor Osimhen but appreciate the difficulty in trying to pry him away from Napoli, making Abraham a more accessible option.
