Finland has denied threatening Biafran agitator Simon Ekpa with arrest if he fails to desist from acts of terror in the SouthEast of Nigeria. Mr. Ekpa who is based in Finland has been fingered as the mastermind of spates of attack and also the promoter of the sit-at-home order in most of the SouthEastern States. A letter purportedly written by the Finnish Prime Minister warning Ekpa has been circulating online. But the Finnish Embassy in a statement made available to new reporters in Abuja, it said no such letter emanated from the government of Finland: “This is to inform you that the attached letter purporting to be signed by the Prime Minister of Finland and currently circulating widely in the media does not originate from the Finnish government. “We have reported the Twitter message with which this fake letter was originally distributed and asked Twitter to remove it. Regrettably, copies continue circulating in social media and on various internet platforms.
