Bendel Insurance of players are confident they can subdue visiting RS Berkane in Saturday’s CAF Confederation Cup clash at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City.
Centre-back, Benjamin Tanimu said the team is determined to win the match and be in a good stead for the second leg as they aim to reach the crucial stages of the competition.
“Our confidence is high and still growing, because we also have another chance to show the world what we are made of.”
“The players and technical crew have been doing everything to step up from our last performance.
“Nobody gave us a chance before and after our first leg against ASO Chlef but we progressed and learned a lot of lessons. The vital part is that we need to take our chances as they come, and try not to concede at home.”
Also speaking midfielder, Ezekiel Tamara added that the Edo Arsenals are in top shape to face the Moroccan side.
“We go again in the CAF Confederation Cup qualifiers against RS Berkene.
“There is strong believe in this team and we will give our best to ensure we come out victories.”
