This is just as fans and sympathizers have raised so N15m for the upkeep of the five months old baby and the widow the musician left behind.
Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Idowu Owohunwa disclosed Monday that the panel would commence a broad-based investigation adding that the Interpol is also involved.
“Do not forget, we have unique access with INTERPOL. Everybody linked to it (the death of Mohbad) will be identified and they will be brought to establish their level of involvement,” he said.
Mohbad died Tuesday last week and was buried the next day according to Islamic rites. There was no autopsy carried out to determine the cause of death. But a lawyer, Festus Ogun has called for the corpse to exhumed for lab analysis.
