A Cherubim and Seraphim Church prophet is cooling off in police detention after deceptively having sex with a 21- year -old lady identified as Blessings Aliu.
The lady had visited her sister who was in the church in the Agbado area of Ogun State to seek spiritual healing, when the prophet known by his first name Sunday, prophecied that Blessing would not live to see the ending of her wedding ceremony day unless she had sex with him.
The prophet also added that the man who wants to marry the lady or any man who had sex with her will also die.
Acting in the guise of delivering Blessing from her death curse, prophet Sunday whisk her away to a secret location on February 2, 2023 and after almost seven months Blessing’s family began to smell a rat. And her uncle Yusuf Aliu contacted the Ogun State Police and on November 5, 2023, Blessing returned home to reveal her sordid ordeal in the hands of the prophet. She narrated how Sunday hid her in his family home in Ilaro and severally, some times forcefully had sex with her.
“The suspect has been arrested and confessed to the crimes during interrogation.” said Ogun police spokesperson Omolola Odutola.
“He is currently in our custody and will be charged in court as soon as the investigation is completed.
“The victim, on the other hand, had been taken to the hospital for medical examination after showing a psychological problem, or probably a psychiatric problem,” she added.
