Nigerian rapper Oladipupo Oladimeji a.k.a Oladips has died of undisclosed cause in Lagos.
Oladips, who hit the spotlight after rapper Reminisce signed him to LRR/EDGE Records, died on Tuesday, November 14. His management confirmed his passing Wednesday as video shared online by one of his associates, Rasheed, saw him crying over his dead body. “Dips abeg, God abeg. Wein be this.”
“We are saddened to inform the general public that Oladipupo Olabode Oladimeji a.k.a 0LADIPS passed away yesterday Nov’ 14th Tuesday evening, at exactly 10:14 pm.
“We are still in shock as we speak! For over 2 years he has kept his battles within himself, his body is now with his family & funeral services will be announced as it is concluded!
“The family asked that we respect their privacy in this trying time. May God give us all the fortitude to bear this great loss. (amen).- Management.”Before his death, he was planning to release a 17-track album, titled Superhero Adugbo, which he delayed due to the death of Mohbad, who passed away in September.
