As the countdown to the 4th edition of the Eyoto Schools Athletics championships continues, the Eyoto Sports Academy has reeled out a list of incentives to tie down the schools for the event is scheduled for December 7-8 at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium Benin City.
According to a member of the Eyoto executive council, a lot of measures to entice the students and the schools are already in motion they include: “ T shirts has been procured, the cup for the wining school is ready, we have been mobilizing our students’ athletes from Edo Central and Edo North.
“Prizes will be awarded to first, second and third in ten events for boys and ten events for girls and also special Olympics.
“ At the end of the competition, we will select the ten best Athletes that will receive scholarships for N200k each and the school with the most medals will receive the 2023 Eyoto Sports Academy cup and a a prize of N100k,” said coach Mutiu Oluwa technical director of the meet.
