Brazilian soccer star Neymar and his girlfriend Bruna Biancardi have split nearly two months after they announced the birth of their daughter on Oct. 6.
The model, 29, revealed the news on social media, calling the breakup “a private matter,” according to TMZ.
“But as I am exposed to news, assumptions and jokes on a daily basis, I inform you that I am not in a relationship,” she wrote.
“We are Mavie’s parents, and that is the reason for our bond. I hope that this way they will stop relating to the frequent news. Thank you.”
Neymar and Biancardi, who went public with their relationship in April 2022, announced the pregnancy news in a joint post on Instagram in April 2023.
Biancardi’s revelation also came days after Neymar denied recently sending messages to a Brazilian OnlyFans model, according to TMZ.
The Al-Hilal striker reportedly said in a post on social media that the leaked messages were from “years ago.”
According to Marca, Neymar messaged Brazilian OnlyFans model Aline Farias asking, “do you have nudes? When I’m in Sao Paulo I’ll let you know.”
Neymar and Biancardi have been fairly private about their romance after they reconciled following a brief split in the summer of 2022.
Neymar has a son Davi Lucca, 12, from his previous relationship with ex-girlfriend Carolina Dantas.
The couple previously made headlines over the summer when they were at the center of reports alleging they followed three apparent rules that enabled Neymar to be unfaithful.
The soccer player issued a public apology to Biancardi, who was pregnant at the time, on social media — admitting that he “was wrong” and “made a mistake” by her.
