Actress and media personality, Toke Makinwa said she lost both her parents in a fire accident and that has remained her biggest fear.
Makinwa made the revelations during a chat with comedian Ayo Makun a.k.a AY who himself was affected by a fire incident which razed down his home.
“I’ve been a victim of a house fire when I was a kid and unfortunately both my parents died as a result of that. That’s one of my biggest fears,” Makinwa said.
Meanwhile Makinwa is enjoying the spotlight at the ongoing COP28 Climate Summit in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. She is one of Nigeria’s 1411-man delegation that has caused an outrage.
Many Nigerians have criticised President Bola Tinubu over the large delegation. Some have even called out Makinwa and others who are in Dubai. However Afrobeats star David Adeleke a.k.a Davido came to the defence of Makinwa with a post on his X page.
“So person wey just really go flex for Dubai now on him own no fit post. Sh*t funny AF …. I love it.”
