Top Nigerian music stars dominated the Best African Music act award list for the 2023 MOBO awards billed for February 7, 2024 in Sheffield UK.
The list includes Burna Boy, Wizkid, Davido, Rema, Adekunle Gold, Asake, Ayra Starr, Libianca Cameroon, Tyla South Africa, Uncle Waffles Eswatini who have been nominated for the Best African Music act caterogy. Hit-making producer P2J and gospel artist Limoblaze are two other Nigerians who make up the nominations.
Now in its 26th year, the ceremony has served as the top honor for music of black origin in the UK.
Speaking on the upcoming show, MOBO Founder Kanya King said in a statement:
