The Grammy Awards committee has lined up Nigeria’s Afrobeats mega star Damini Ogulu a.k.a Burna Boy to perform at the 66th awards billed for February 4.
Other acts that would light up the night include Travis Scott, Luke Combs, Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo and Dua Lipa.
Burna Boy a Grammy Award winner in 2021 is also nominated for the 2023 awards in four categories, including Best Global Music Album (“I Told Them…”), Best African Music Performance (“City Boys”), Best Global Music Performance (“Alone”), and Best Melodic Rap Performance (“Sittin’ on Top of the World”).
In 2021, the singer set a record in Nigeria after his fifth album ‘Twice As Tall’ won the ‘Best World Music Album’ category at the Grammys.
