Police in the Federal Capital Territory moved in to halt the looting of
a warehouse belonging to the National Emergency Management Agency of Nigeria, by Abuja residents who claimed to have driven into the action by economic hardships.
But before the police intervention Sunday morning food items and other supplies have been moved from the warehouse located at Karimo Phase 3 Abuja by the invading crowd number over 200.
“We managed the situation and everything is under control,” said FCT Police spokesperson, Josephine Adeh.
