Nigeria’s Super Eagles were beaten 2-0 by their Malian counterparts in Tuesday international friendly played in Marrakesh, Morocco.

The Super Eagles knocked on the doors of the Malians searching for the equalizing goal, but all that they could get was Moses Simon clattering into Malian keeper Mamadou Samassa. Moses was taken off the game in a stretcher.
In the 65th Minute Cyriel Dessers had the chance to level up after he was put through into the box he had only Samassa to beat, but he missed the target giving the Malians some respite. They picked up the pieces and turned the tide against the Super Eagles, in the 87th minute Mamady Diambou played on Kamory Doumbia, who shot past Stanley Nwabali to seal a second straight friendly win for Mali.
The Super Eagles had beaten Ghana’s Black Stars last Saturday at the same venue, but Tuesday’s result is a head scratcher for Finidi George in his bid to hold on to the Super Eagles job.
