Singer Gabriel Oche Amanyi a.k.a Terry G said he and other secular musicians are praise singers for the devil as long as their songs do not glorify God.
He argued during an interview on ‘Honest Bunch Podcast’ that any song that does not glorify God is a song for the devil.
“I am a secular musician. I sing for the devil. We [secular musicians] sing for the devil, we praise the devil. We don’t glorify God. Abi all this one wey we dey do, you think to say na God we dey do am for?”
Speaking on fellow musician Wizkid’s declaration that he does not want to be limited to Afrobeats, Terry G said that most Nigerian fans would not be able to relate with his new approach.
“Wizkid music no dey too relate to us. My colleagues from my set, most of us are illiterates,” he said.
