Rapper fans have been enjoying the diss onslaught between Drake and Kendrick Lamar, but things went to a different level when former NFL star DeSean Jackson danced to Kendrick’s track, “Not Like Us.”
The video includes some of the heaviest lines from the diss track, like when Kendrick referred to Drake as a “certified pedophile.”
“Not Like Us” appeared to be the final nail in Drake’s coffin after an eventful weekend that saw the Canadian artist put out his “Family Matters” diss track, matched by three songs from Kendrick: “6:16 in LA,” “Meet the Grahams” and “Not Like Us,” all in less than 36 hours.
Eventually, Drake hit back with The Heart Part 6 late Sunday night, refuting Kendrick Lamar’s claims of moles in his circle and his questionable behavior around minors.
The four-and-half-minute song, titled “Not Like Us,” seemingly skewers some of Drake’s faux pas in the public eye, including the removal of his song “Taylor Made (Freestyle).” In April, Drake released the song featuring an AI-generated imitation of rap icon Tupac Shakur, only to later remove it after Shakur’s estate expressed disapproval.
“You think the Bay (gonna) let you disrespect Pac, (expletive)? I think that Oakland show (gonna) be your last stop,” Lamar raps in the song.
