President Bola Tinubu is expected back in the country Wednesday after spending more than two weeks in Europe.
His special adviser on information and strategy Bayo Onanuga writing on his X page Tuesday, hinted that President Tinubu who left Nigeria on April 22 for Netherlands official visit and then to Saudi Arabia for the World Economic Forum between April 28-29, will be home with his entourage.
“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, along with his aides, will return to Nigeria tomorrow from Europe,” Onanuga wrote.
Former Vice President Abubakar Atiku had lambasted Tinubu over his absence and that of his deputy Kassim Shettima in midst of the petrol scarcity crisis that has hit the country for more than two weeks.
It was gathered that after the summit in Saudi Arabia Tinubu flew over to Paris, France where he had always retreated for medical checks.
Meanwhile Minister of State for Health and Social Welfare Tunji Alausa has assured that President Tinubu is in good health and his absence was not on medical grounds.
“We have a president that is well, that is healthy and leading the country in the right direction,” he said.
