Singer Cynthia Morgan has been arrested and detained by the Police in Edo State for alleged cyberstalking of Benin Crown Prince Ezelekhae Ewuare.
Miss Morgan was arrested following a complaint filed by the law firm Uwensuyi Edisomwan and Co. on behalf of the Crown Prince. The Edo Commissioner of Police, ordered an investigation and possible prosecution of Miss Morgan based on the complaint.
Morgan, who has been out of the music scene for a while, shocked her peers with the behavior and it remained a topic of discussion bearing in mind the consequences of such action. According to sources more revelations would be disclosed as the police continue their inquiries. The music community and fans across the country are eagerly awaiting updates and the singer’s response to the accusations.
Morgan, known as the Nigerian queen of reggae and dancehall music had songs like “German Juice” and “Simatiniya ” to her credit. Her career had been on the slow side since 2015, she claimed during an interview that it was due to illness.
