Nigeria music diva Tiwa Savage, said she handled herself very well in the intimate scene of her debut film ‘Water & Garri’.
Tiwa Savage who played Aisha in the movie said settled down into the role adding that her first-ever movie kissing experience with co-star Andrew Bunting (Kay in the movie) was nice.
“The first day on set I had my kissing scene. I am glad it was my first day because I just went right into it,” Tiwa Savage told BET.
“I remember in my dressing room, I brushed my teeth like five, six times because I was like I needed to represent. But, he was very lovely. All of the cast was. They were really really nice.”
Water & Garri was executive produced by Tiwa Savage and directed by her long-time music video director Meji Alabi, “Water & Garri” is a collaboration between Everything Savage, Unbound Studios, and JM Films.
The concept was born from Savage’s idea to create a visual album for her 2021 EP of the same name. Because of that, it “initially it was only supposed to be like a short film,” Savage said, “and then it grew on its own and took its own identity.”
