David Adeleke a.k.a Davido and Chioma Rowland’s wedding remain talk of the town after the two long time lovers tied the nuptial knot at palatial ceremony on Victoria Island Lagos.
Top politicians and celebrities were on hand to witness the occasion in which money in dollars flowed like never seen and this remained a topic of discussion for Lagosians and Nigerians who had been bombarded with images of splendor from the ceremony on social media.
While people are still talking, Davido and his entourage were seen boarding a private jet to an unknown destination Thursday, it is generally believed the celebrated couples are flying out to enjoy their honeymoon. Davido shared on his X page on Thursday, the images of the jet plane with the caption “Let’s first launch this one.”
There was also a clip showing the couple and their aides boarding the aircraft.
Meanwhile music producer Samklef who seems like a top critic of Davido said the wedding was tinted because the Afrobeats star invited Verydarkman (VDM) to his wedding.
Samklef argued on his X page that by inviting an ‘éx-convict’ to his big day, Davido has tarnished the celebrity list which included Don Jazzy, Victor Osimhen, Obi Cubana, Olamide, Fireboy, Psquare, Patoranking, Seyi Tinubu and some Nigerian political heavyweights.
“Davido wedding hype wey suppose last for 1 week. Marriage is about love! This poor man pikin just ruined it. Nor be everybody Dem supposed to invite come big men table. Now poor dirty man pikin wey get nothing loose don Dey dirty rich man come even pour san san for their table,” Samklef said.
“This kind of negativity nor fit happen for Wizkid wedding or occasion. No be every dirty dem Dey carry along he go stain your white. Very embarrassing. Ex-convict,” Samklef added.
