England seemed to be on their way out of the Euro Championship after falling behind to Slovakia in their round of 16 clash in Gelsenkirchen, Germany.
But Jude Bellingham turned up with a spectacular over head kick in stoppage-time to saved The Three Lions from humiliating exit. Harry Kane scrambled in the winner in extra time to put England beyond the humbling of the Slovaks.
At half time coach Gareth Southgate was subjected boos from the English fans after struggling to find a footing as Ivan Schranz put Slovakia ahead in the 25th minute.
Bellingham turned the game on its head when he connected with cross from Marc Guehi. Bellingham was mobbed by England’s players – before he celebrated with captain Harry Kane. With his arms outstretched in his trademark celebration, Bellingham shouted “who else?!” to the fans.
Then in extra time Eberechi Eze and Ivan Toney who came in from the bench, had their combined efforts helped into the net by Kane to give England the much desired win. Switzerland await in the quarter-finals on Saturday.
