Super Eagles top striker Victor Osimhen had medicals examination Tuesday to prepare himself for Napoli’s preseason training.
Osimhen has been linked with a move to the Premier League and Ligue 1, but so far no concreate offers have been put on the table for his services from England and from France. Napoli’s €130m clause on his contract seem to be scaring away Clubs like Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United and Paris St Germain.
La Repubblica reports that Osimhen was among the first players to arrive at Napoli’s training centre on Tuesday morning.
The group included Leonardo Spinazzola and Rafa Marin, who had had medical tests on Monday, while Alessandro Buongiorno will undergo examinations on Wednesday.
Antonio Conte is prepared to part company with Osimhen, as the coach explained in his first press conference. Romelu Lukaku has emerged as the primary option to replace the Nigerian striker.
