Super Eagles striker Kelechi Iheanacho will join Sevilla after spending nine seasons in the English Premier League with Manchester City and Leicester City.
Iheanacho agree to terms with the Spanish La Liga side, and he is expected to undergo medicals this week. He turned down a new contract with Leicester City where he spent most of time in England to accept a quick offer from Seville who were looking for a replacement for Youssef En-Nesyri who moved to Fenerbahce.
Last season, Iheanacho scored six goals and gave two assists in 25 appearances, to help Leicester back into the Premier League. Iheanacho is hoping that the change of environment will revive his career after struggled to make Leicester’s starting 11. Iheanacho played 232 games for Leicester and scored 61 goals.
