A man simply identified as Ahmed Tailor is under arrest for allegedly producing Russian flags for the #EndBadGovernance protesters in Kano.
Nigeria Police Force Headquarters PRO Olumuyiwa Adejobi, said in Abuja that Ahmed Tailor, was the sponsor and distributor of Russian flags to protesters in Kano State.
“Ahmed Tailor arrested in Kano today with seven more flags. He is one of the sponsors of treasonable felony, flying Russian flags and calling for anarchy in Kano, Nigeria at large,” said Mr. Adejobi
Protesters added a new twist to demonstrations in Kano, Kaduna by waving Russian flags and calling Mr. Vladamir Putin to oust the government of President Tinubu.
On Monday more Russian flags were seen in major cities A video on X showed protesters in Kaduna chanting in Hausa, “Welcome, Russia; Welcome, Russia” while waving Russian flag.
