As talks between Chelsea, Napoli and Victor Osimhen slowly progress for his potential transfer to the London, former Super Eagles captain John Obi Mikel has urged to striker to sign on without delay.
But things took a different turn when Primate Elijah Ayodele of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church of Nigeria warned Osimhen not go to London.
Osimhen wanting to play champions league football is developing cold feet on signing for Chelsea. The club is also worried about his wage demand of £200,000 a week. However, talks will continue in the coming days.
“I hope that Chelsea fans finally get to see him at our club, I would like him to understand that Chelsea should become his absolute priority,” Obi Mikel who spent 12 seasons with Chelsea and won all club football titles, told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“It would be fantastic if he came to play here.”
However, Primate Ayodele a seer, in an online video on X warned that Osimhen going to the London club would kill his club and international career.
“I want to quickly advise Osimhen. Do not go to Chelsea. If you go to Chelsea, you will not shine. It will kill your career.”
“NFF if he goes to Chelsea don’t call him o.”
